Ken's passion for cooking began when he started cooking meals with his mother at an early age every night for the family dinner. He studied and graduated from ACE Academy of culinary education under the instruction of Chef Cecilia De Castro. He apprenticed at Linq restaurant and lounge in West Los Angeles, under the direction of Chefs Keith Lord and Chris Hylton as pastry chef, while attending school.
He then moved on with a short stint at Senior Fred in sherman oaks under the direction of chef Andre Guerrero gaining valuable knowledge of Latin cuisine
Ken was hired by long time friend and then executive chef of Cafe Fiore John Paolone, in 2004 as pastry chef and eventually moved on to Executive Chef. Enjoying the diversity of over seeing the pastries and continuing his knowledge of Italian cuisine
In 2011 Ken was given an opportunity to once again work with executive Chef John Paolone and Fabio Viviani under the Firenze brand in Hollywood. Enjoying the experience of working under a celebrity chef from Florence, his knowledge of Italian cuisine has flourished.
